Acknowledgement
I want to acknowledge all my family and friends whom I did not mention in the dedication. I truly appreciate each one of you who has played an important part in me becoming the person that I am today especially my Miami Dolphins Alumni family, my
NFLPA South Florida Chapter Alumni family, my NFL Trust family, my NFL Alumni family, and my MCDS and Parent’s association family.

If you are reading this acknowledgement, I acknowledge you for your support. Growing up in the 70’s, there were a couple of memories I would like to discuss for this book’s purpose and to acknowledge.

First, in elementary school every day to start the day we all stood up and recited the Pledge of Allegiance.

Second, at every NFL football game in the corner of the end zone hung a banner that read John 3:16.

By the time I reached the NFL in 1994, the Pledge of Allegiance was no longer acknowledged in school and John 3:16 was no longer acknowledged at the game. I acknowledge God, the father, the son, and the holy spirit not only for the purpose of
this book, but for the purpose of my life!
